Unlike 1994's "The Flintstones" starring John Goodman and Rosie O'Donnell, "Viva Rock Vegas" was not boring, lacked humor or had a dense plot. I'm a big fan of O'Donnell's, but was disappointed by her portrayal of Betty and Goodman's portrayal of Fred. So when I went to see "Viva Rock Vegas," I expected pretty much the same. Was I ever wrong! "Viva's" superb cast of Kristen Johnson as Wilma, "The Full Monty's" pudgy Mark Addy as Fred, Stephen Baldwin as Barney and Jane Krakowski ("Ally McBeal") as Betty, were able to make me laugh and enjoy the movie from beginning to end! I've seen it twice and plan on seeing it again! Some critics think it was just as bad as the first movie. But believe me, this one is 100 times better! "Viva" has better props, better characters, and a funny and at times touching story plot to it!
