Veteran Technology CEO to Lead Growth Strategy For Pioneer in Local Digital Media Publishing
Elmer Baldwin, a longtime Minnesota resident and seasoned chief executive with a record of success at various established and start-up technology firms including units of Fujitsu, Accenture, Egghead Software and Oracle, is joining digital media pioneer Internet Broadcasting as President and Chief Executive Officer. He assumes the role that was vacated in mid-2010 with the departure of the company’s prior top executive, David Lebow.

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in St. Paul, Internet Broadcasting (IB) was the first company to develop news & information websites in partnership with local television stations. Baldwin most recently was President and CEO of Analysts International Corporation, a large Minneapolis-based provider of IT services, including staffing and project-based solutions, to businesses and government agencies. Before that, he led Minnetonka-based BORN Information Services as their President and CEO, which he sold to Fujitsu after helping to restore BORN to profitability. Earlier he was President and CEO of Via World Network, an Accenture-backed, Minneapolis-based provider of travel automation tools and services. He joined Via from Egghead Software, where he was Vice President of the Corporate, Government and Education Division. Previously, he was a Group Director for Oracle Corporation’s consulting business, launching a fast-growing Minneapolis branch office.
Baldwin began his career as a systems engineer and analyst at Hughes Aircraft and, before that, Northrop Corporation, both in his native California. He holds a B.B.A., Finance, from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
