St. Paul, MN (October 11, 2011) – Internet Broadcasting announced today that Barb Palser is joining IB as its new Vice President of Account Management. Palser returns to IB from McGraw-Hill Broadcasting where she was the Director of Digital Media, consistently increasing Web and mobile audiences and revenue for their ABC affiliate stations.

IB is the leading provider of digital solutions for some of the most respected media companies in the world including Hearst Television, McGraw-Hill Broadcasting and Post-Newsweek Stations. IB helps local TV stations grow their digital business and connect with viewers across all digital media with world-class publishing, advertising and content solutions.

In her new role at IB, Palser will leverage her extensive broadcasting industry background to help IB clients with their digital audience and revenue growth strategies. Palser is also accountable for client satisfaction including metrics and client scorecards.

“We are very excited to have Barb join our team,” said Jeff Kimball, COO of Internet Broadcasting. “Her years of experience as the person accountable for growing the digital business for local stations make her uniquely suited to lead IB’s client account management team – where we provide those same solutions for clients across the USA.”

Prior to joining IB, Palser was the Director of Digital Media at McGraw-Hill Broadcasting where she oversaw web and mobile strategy for the company’s ABC-affiliate stations in Denver, Indianapolis, San Diego and Bakersfield. Palser is a Columnist and Feature Writer for the American Journalism Review and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University.

“There is a new spirit at IB and I am excited to re-join the company,” said Palser. “The new leadership, expanded solutions and impressive list of blue-chip customers made it an easy decision for me. I look forward to the opportunity to help our clients grow their digital audience and revenue.”
