New York is not willing to fully embrace Tim Tebow yet -- at least in the Bronx.

Tebow attended Sunday night's game between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels and was booed when his face was displayed on the video scoreboard at Yankee Stadium.

Wearing a Yankees cap, Tebow attended the game with Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade, who scored 28 points earlier in the day in a win over the New York Knicks.

Wade also was booed until he held up his Yankees cap, earning a round of applause.

Tebow was acquired by the New York Jets from the Denver Broncos for a pair of draft picks. The Jets have been steadfast in saying Tebow was brought in to serve as a backup to much-maligned starter Mark Sanchez.
