Alabama's BCS trophy broken by player's father
$30,000 trophy knocked from display during spring game

The crystal football trophy won by Alabama for winning the BSC title game against LSU in January was shattered into pieces.
The Waterford Crystal trophy was on display during Alabama's spring game Saturday when it was knocked from its display by the father of a current team member, a school spokesman said Monday.
The value of the trophy is $30,000.
The school is working with the American Football Coaches Association to obtain a replacement.
