Reid Johnson formed IB in 1996 to develop and host websites for the nation's most important local TV stations. Our reach grew quickly and we soon discovered the potential of relevant local content on the Web.
Our Internet editors worked side-by-side with broadcasters to optimize TV/Web convergence and change the way people get their news. News stories started on TV and continued online, with trusted anchors directing viewers to the web.
To support our growing network, IB developed innovative technology to manage and scale our distribution. Beginning with our powerful, custom-built content management system and extending to our flexible advertising platform, we excelled at serving the demands of our customers and the needs of consumers.
With the television medium as promotion, we built an aggregated audience which today stands at more than 16 million unique visitors per month. IB is now a powerful national network consisting of local Web users.
From our innovative developers to our creative sales staff to our award-winning content producers, IB's people in New York, St. Paul, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver and in scores of affiliates around the country work to grow our consumer engagement and distribution.

Our Priorities
- Lead and stay ahead of the market. From thought leadership to quality Internet products and technology solutions, we invest and innovate for the Web.
- Win with our customers -- television stations, local publishers, distribution partners, and advertisers -- by achieving agreed-upon expectations.
- Create innovative products to engage local Internet users.
- Distribute products broadly to fully meet the market. Maximize the incredible distribution opportunity offered on the web.
- Generate revenue consistently for our customers. The market is growing and sophisticated, IB focuses on bringing in the right kind of revenue.
IB uses its resources to create new and better ways to connect the many different aspects of consumers' lives. By innovating around the convergence of TV, Video and the Internet, IB first brought local, relevant and personal information to the consumer.
Today, IB is on the move again, innovating around new products to engage the consumer, generating more use for our sites and to our customer's sites.
IB is focused on giving back and enriching the communities in which we work. In 2007, we moved to new facilities in St. Paul and are one of the largest high tech employers in the area.
When events happen in any of our markets, we "give back" by donating time or effort to the community.
